Three Murray Bridge jobseekers are settling into new roles after receiving tailored support from IntoJobs and local employer Wellington Lake Marina Pty Ltd, which operates the popular Captain Proud Paddle Wheel Cruises.
IntoJobs Employment Consultants Jessie-Dee and Penny Haynes worked closely with the business to meet its staffing needs while supporting participants throughout every stage of their employment journey.
From providing interview clothing and transport assistance to arranging targeted upskilling opportunities, the team helped participants overcome barriers and prepare for work with confidence.
Their support has delivered positive outcomes, with all three participants securing employment. Two participants attracted wage subsidies, one transitioned out of services after securing full-time work, and another celebrated the milestone of landing their very first job.
The success highlights the value of IntoJobs’ mobile servicing model, which allows consultants to provide flexible, responsive support where and when it is needed most.
As part of their ongoing support, Jessie-Dee and Penny recently visited Wellington Lake Marina on-site to conduct post-placement support with both the employer and participants. The face-to-face visit provided an opportunity to check on participants’ progress, strengthen relationships and address any emerging support needs.
All three participants are performing strongly in their roles, and the employer has expressed a willingness to review resumes for future candidates, reflecting the strength of the partnership that has been built.
