For Pooja Chahar, the barrier to employment wasn’t a lack of capability – it was a life turned upside down.
When she connected with our team at IntoJobs Dandenong (VIC)*, Pooja was navigating the fallout of a relationship breakdown. The emotional toll had chipped away at her confidence, leaving her battling anxiety and questioning her place in the workforce. Job hunting is difficult at the best of times; trying to do it while rebuilding your personal life can feel impossible.
The IntoJobs team recognised immediately that a standard approach wouldn’t work. Pushing harder wasn’t the answer. Pooja needed room to breathe.

The team reduced her mutual obligation requirements. This allowed Pooja to focus on her well-being while still moving forward.
She engaged with Mas Allied Health to address her anxiety and enrolled in the EmpowHer program – a powerful collaboration between IntoWork businesses IntoJobs, iTFE, and Mas National. These steps were vital in helping her regain her confidence and direction.
While she did the internal work, IntoJobs handled the practicals. Transport assistance and professional clothing support meant that the logistics of getting back to work were one less thing for her to worry about.
The shift has been profound. The uncertainty that once defined her outlook has been replaced by a sharp, clear ambition. Pooja has set her sights on a career as a Medical Receptionist – a role that requires the very resilience and empathy she has cultivated through her journey.
Pooja is proof that sometimes, the most important part of “employment support” isn’t just fixing the resume – it’s supporting the person behind it.
*IntoJobs services in Victoria are delivered by Mas National, both part of the IntoWork Group.
